During this time, students and educators will participate in educational trivia learning Hispanic words and phrases, learn about Hispanic leaders and their contributions, and celebrate similiaties and differences in culture. Please remember to pull all the way forward when dropping off student each morning and have your student exit the car on the sidewalk side to keep them safe. Also parents, please do not get out of your vehicle in the drop off line. If you need to get out with your student, please move to the lower parking area and pull into parking space. This helps to keep the drop off line flowing. We appreciate your help in this.
The LRSD Parent and Family Engagement team are hosting a Back to School Bash on Saturday, September 14th from 10am-1pm! Come out to the Henderson Building at 401 John Barrow Road for live music, door prizes, giveaways, school supplies, free haircuts, health screenings, information about programs/afterschool resources, refreshments and more!!

Our Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad event was phenomenal! We had over 230 moms and dads to come out and make wonderful memories with their children. Studies show that positive patental support increases academic achievement, boosts positive behavior, and supports social emotional learning. At WME, we have outstanding parents!
Grandparents Day 2024-2025 was an absolute success. We had over 190 grandparents come out and eat with their grandchildren. We strive to have ongoing family support and look forward to a continuous collaborative partnership. Go Eagles!
