WME Family and Friends, Good Mourning Grief Support Groups are for any child or teen, ages Kindergarten through high school, who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. There are also support groups available for the adults in the family. There is no charge for the program, but a completed application is required for each child or teen. Each series goes for 8 weeks: A virtual-only series for families anywhere in Arkansas begins the week of January 20, 2025 with a Parent Orientation Monday, January 13, 2025. Craig O'Neal and his friends stopped by Williams Magnet on their reading roadtrip to read Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! WME Family and Friends, Our 5th grade students had the pleasure of going to a middle showcase at Horace Mann Middle School. Our students had the opportunity to preview clubs, tour the campus, and learn all about the amazing things going on at HMMS. Our very own Scarlett answered a ballet trivia question and won a ballet bar and mat. #LRSD

WME Family and Friends, Divine Ladies of Wisdon #804 Order of Eastern Star gifted 5 families with a complete holiday meal! We're so glad this organization selected WME to make a positive impact.

December 16th - December 20th will be a fun week dressing up celebrating the 5 days of Christmas ! We can't wait!

I am lost; I hope my owner finds me. Greetings, Eagles' Nest: We have several items in the 'Lost & Found' that we would like to reconnect with their owner.  All items in 'Lost and Found' will be placed on the stage for their owners to identify and claim them.  We ask that parents stop by and check for any lost items before Friday, November 22, 2024. Thank you for helping us reconnect old friends! 

A huge THANK YOU to all of our guest readers who came out today for Jane Mendel Reading Day and read to the classes! Our staff and students loved it! We appreciate you volunteering your time!

Greetings WME Family and Friends, Good day. We are off to an amazing beginning collecting personal hygiene items for our Toiletry Drive. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. To make this a totally awesome event and to make a major impact in the lives of the 120 residents at Briarwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, we need a few more items. We still need: -105 bottles of shampoo -85 packs of individually wrapped wipes -65 bottles of lotion -65 bottles of body wash -65 tubes of deodorant -65 tubes of toothpaste You can get these items at any store of your choice. I've suggested shopping at Dollar Tree because you can get full size items at a lower price point than going to other stores getting trial size. Happy donating!

On Thursday (11/14) the cafeteria will be serving turkey and dressing for lunch! Student's families are welcome to join. If a parent/guardian/staff member is wanting a tray all you need to do is call the front office BY TOMORROW AT 9AM and let them know! This way the cafeteria can ensure they have a meal ready for you! Trays cost 5 dollars a person CASH ONLY !

WME Friends and Family, We are still in need of personal hygiene products. A special thanks to the families that have already graciously donated. We still need the following items: -socks -body wash -lotion -toothpaste -deodorant -shampoo We have enough of the following items: -toothbrush -comb -hair brush Let's encourage our scholars to have a servant's heart and about the importance of helping our local community.
