Nurses will be available tonight to meet with parents and collect medications during our teacher night at PVMS. Please bring any medication to be given at school in a labeled bottle for us to keep in our office with exact instructions on the label of what time it is to be given at school. We are unable to accept medication from a bag , pocket, purse, etc. Meds must be brought in a labeled bottle per district policy. We can collect a thirty-day supply of medication only and a parent or legal guardian must be present to count and sign medication in with the nurse each month. If your student needs an inhaler or epi pen in the nurse office, we will need a current food or allergy action plan to follow if medication needs to be given in nurse office. We will also be on campus this week Thursday and Friday from 0800 -330 to collect medications if needed. If your child got vaccines during the summer, please send a copy of vaccine record to the nurse office via email or by your student next week 🙂 All middle school students are required to have Tdap and Meningitis vaccines , unless you have a current exemption letter from the state. The clinic is happening now through July 25th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Pulaski County Central Health Unit, 3915 West 8th Street.
