Important Weather Update

Good Afternoon, Parents/Guardians:

In light of tomorrow’s weather forecast, all after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday will be canceled out of an abundance of caution. At this time, we plan to follow our regular dismissal schedule, as we believe students are safest at school under supervision. However, we are closely monitoring conditions and will notify families immediately if there is any change to our dismissal plan. Parents may choose to pick up their child early if they feel it is safest to do so. Please note that if tornado sirens are activated, we will initiate our shelter-in-place procedures, and building doors will be locked until the threat has passed. Please check the LRSD app, text messages, website, and social media for updates. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff.
